Pay: $130,000-190,000
Responsibilities
Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all salespeople
Ensure that all sales personnel become factory-certified
Assist individual salespeople in setting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives, and provide them with the support to meet these goals
Assist salespeople in closing deals, including creating follow-up communications with customers to increase closing percentages
Supervise the efforts of salespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership
Direct and schedule the activities of salespeople to ensure proper staffing at all times
Ensure that salespeople understand and follow dealership policies and procedures
Responsible for making daily customer call backs of unsold prospect customers with the goal of making appointments
Responsible for all aspects of the selling system such as demo line, product display, etc.
Responsible for finance paperwork processing
Stay abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers
Attend and conduct daily/weekly sales meetings and training
Realize and strive to meet monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals and objectives for the department
Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect vehicle sales
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as an Automotive Sales Manager
Previous experience at a high-end dealership
Must be available to work Saturdays
Knowledgeable in vAuto appraisal system
Ability to manage, motivate, and coach a sales team
Professional management style, outgoing personality, positive attitude, and professional appearance
Strong customer service and follow-up skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills
Valid driver’s license
