Pay: $90,000-$100,000
Responsibilities
Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the parts department
Maintain profitability of the department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction
Forecasts goals and objectives for the parts department and strives to meet / exceed them
Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the defined areas
Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date
Working with the service department, collision repair and wholesale account representatives to ensure inventory is available when needed
Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all parts department staff
Establish and maintain programs designed to train, develop and motivate department employees
Provide technical assistance to parts department employees
Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that may affect parts sales
Enforce safety requirements
Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
Qualifications
3+ years experience as a Parts Manager within a franchised dealership
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Prior experience managing a team or in a supervisory capacity
A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
Great customer service skills
Detail oriented, teamwork driven, and organized
Ability to work well in a process driven environment
Professional appearance and work ethic
High school diploma or equivalent
